Just because your train has suffered a power failure doesn't mean you have to remain behind.
Apart from diesel engines, even the most striking trains can't operate without electric power. And because no one really likes to be left behind, Kayser-Threde has developed systems which will get a train going again quickly. Should something go wrong, these systems will spot the failure and adjust the power supply by bypassing the defective device. Kayser-Threde has been successfully working for the Deutsche Bahn AG in the field of process control technology since 1981. Today more than 5,200 processors at over 250 sites in Germany are monitoring the safe power supply of rail traffic.
